Fabrication Imagination with special guest instructor Becky Erdman from South Carolina (formerly our very own from Vermont). This 2-day event will allow you to make a whimsical creation using a deconstruction and reconstruction of fabric technique. A chance for you to learn collage quilting on an image of your choice. You will learn art quilting techniques and how to use a variety of decorative stitches to create drama and interest in a quilt. This class will provide you with new opportunities to expand your quilting knowledge. Learn the process of creating an image using fabric like paint on a canvas. You will also learn to use your decorative stitches to enhance and define your collage. This is a great class for the beginner quilter or the advanced quilter who wants to learn a new technique. You will be able to use your piece as a wall hanging, put it on a jacket or tote, or as a centerpiece to a quilt.
We have several collage options for you to choose from. We are able to offer three for the class and will let the class participants decide which three will be offered.
There is a supply list for this class and we will offer a package discount.
Space is limited to 18 for this class. Sign up early!
