2022 To The Point Brown Bag Mystery
FABRICS & KITS > KITS > Brown Bag Mysteries > 2022 To The Point Brown Bag Mystery
Vermont Quilter's Schoolhouse is participating in the 2022 Brown Bag Mystery again this year! Bags are available for purchase on Saturday, January 15th! The fabric bow on each bag is the feature fabric in the bag. This year's bag is again designed by Karen Montgomery.
Each participant will have the option to join a private facebook group where Karen will load a video tutorial for each clue. The first clue will be released on Saturday, March 18 and every two weeks thereafter with the final clue/assembly instructions going out on May 17.
Karen will upload a video tutorial on the Saturday of each clue release with some really good instructions for you to follow. She will also have additional projects for you in the group along the way. While the two recommended rulers are not required (if you did the 2020 Mystery, you may already have the perfect rectangle ruler), Karen is planning some additional projects for you during the mystery so that you will learn each ruler's techniques and be able to apply the techniques to other patterns.
The quilt measure 55" x 75" without borders. With each bag, you will find a fabric or two or three, that we've recommended might be considered as a border fabric for the particular bag. You may want to purchase sooner rather than later if you decide to add a border as border fabrics may become limited. Karen recommends 2-1/2 yards for your border.
Check back frequently! We are adding new bags daily.
